To answer to your question, in my point on view it's a really really bad idea ! I hate the idea, but I have to admit that it is the only way ( for the moment) to make the story exciting now.

I really hate this idea. But, for this moment, it seems to me, it's the only way because Dean had to say yes to Michael, and Sam will probably say yes to Lucifer.

No! I like the idea of both brothers who work together, I don't really like when they quarrel (je suis pas sure que ça soit le bon mot pour "disputé")

It's not a good idea, can you imagine Dean without Sam, and Sam without Dean !
We already saw some episodes when they aren't together, that's awful ! I forgot the name or the number of the episode, but do you remember when we saw Sam dressed on white with this hard face ? That's had never have to exist ! they need to find another way for the story ! they need to be here for each other.
Maybe in the last season, the story hadn't take a great way but they can up the slope! We need to wait for ! Soon we'll know all the next stories of our cutest guys in the world !

In my opinion, that's one of the better things happening, but it was so predictable. With Sam and Dean separated, the spectator feel more and more the distress of the two protagonists. Every time they are sets, there is an escape. Now there isn't. They cant' find a solution for one of them, without damaging the other.

I prefer when Sam & Dean work together because, first, they are brothers, then in each episodes we can see both of them supporting the other, if they are separating it will be hard to them to feel good. Like Dean's death, and Sam's different life.
